Job Summary
The Fleet Coordinator is the central logistic point for the fleet; working with internal and external constituents to schedule and track maintenance, communicate fleet status companywide, and monitor inventory.
Job Functions
The Fleet Coordinator has a key role within the company. Some of the key job functions are:
- Point of contact for all fleet related issues
- Monitor inspection forms to identify fleet issues
- Coordinate fleet maintenance with internal office staff and external service vendors
- Track and monitor progress of fleet while in for service
- Employ fast and effective company-wide communication
- Utilize logistics software to track issues, create work orders, enter invoices and monitor parts inventory
- Be available outside of regular business hours during times of fleet problems
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Operations, or related field experience
Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure
- Commitment to follow through and complete assigned responsibilities
