AllShred, Inc. Acquires Virginia Shredding Company

Purchase is the company's first acquisition outside of North Carolina

Durham, N.C., November 15, 2005 – 

AllShred, Inc., an independent mobile shredding company, has acquired Shred Safe, Inc. of Hampton, V.A. The purchase is AllShred, Inc.’s first acquisition outside of North Carolina, reflecting the company’s mission to expand its shredding services throughout the Southeast.

Shred Safe has served Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News, and Hampton Roads since it first began operations in 2003. In just two years, owner John Regan’s business grew so big that it required more resources and time than he could provide.

“I’m proud of how quickly I grew my shredding business,” Regan said. “But it was critical that I sold my business to someone who would care about my customers and employees the way I have since day one.”

According to Regan, AllShred’s track record of excellent customer proved to be an excellent fit. “These guys understand the shredding business and share my philosophy on customer service,” Regan said.
