AllShred, Inc. Acquires Wilmington, North Carolina Shredding Company

Durham-based paper shredding company expands into the Port City; purchase is company's first

Durham, N.C., October 9, 2003 – 

AllShred, Inc., an independent mobile shredding company, has acquired Mobile Shred of Wilmington, N.C. The purchase is AllShred, Inc.’s first and marks the first of many planned business expansions throughout the Southeast.

Mobile Shred owner Frank Patrick was ready to retire, but he wanted assurance that the new owner shared his commitment to customer service. “I wasn’t interested in selling my business to some shredding division of a big corporation,” Patrick stated. “I’ve worked too hard to build this business to sell it to just anyone.”

Earlier this year, Patrick met with AllShred, Inc.’s partners, Tom Hanlon and John Chapman. “I was impressed by Tom and John’s knowledge of the shredding business and their passion for customer service.
